This beautifully formed Georgian collar necklace is crafted in buttery 18 karat yellow gold throughout. Constructed from fine overlapping links, a tubular and serpentine style chain is created- with great movement. Its almost a snake-like feel when you move it around in your hand! It has a wearable length of 17.7 inches, fastens with a concealed clasp, and rests beautifully against the chest. Remaining in lovely antique condition, it dates to the late Georgian period, circa 1830. Wear this piece on its own, or create a lovely gold layered stack!
